AOP Touraine Chenonceaux rouge : cuvée « Armel »

Grape varieties : Côt/Malbec (50%), Cabernet Franc (50%)

Winemaking : The two grape varieties are started in the same concrete vat, with maceration from 7 to 10 days and daily pumping over to extract the fruit and color. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation at 24°C.

Tasting : It reveals subtle aromas of ripe black fruits. The supple and silky tannins provide for elegance and long ageing.

Tasting advice : To be drunk at 16°C within 5 years. Best with dishes in sauce, game, strong cheeses and chocolate desserts.
